Romy Chakraborty is Department Head, Ecology, and Staff Scientist and in the Climate and Ecosystem Sciences Division of the Earth & Environmental Sciences at Berkeley Lab. One of her key research interests is the application of microbes towards bioremediation of key environmental pollutants.
